Description

In order to make the best use of the STRATO production plant and in order to produce with the same plant, both the traditional cross-lapped material and the vertically lapped STRATO material, it is necessary a device called WEB-90°.
This device is suitable to “turn” the web, coming from the carding machine, of 90°, thus making it possible to feed this web directly in the vertical lapper STRATO.
This device consists in a self-bearing structure, provided with 3 crossed belts and a polish stainless steel crossbar, placed at 45°.
The belts are driven by independent motors, thus allowing to adjust web tension.
The web coming from the carding machine, is carried on between a belt and the plan surface placed before the polished crossbar. From the crossbar the web falls down on a lower belt that is placed at 90° in respect with the feeding belt.
This belt feeds the web in the vertical lapper STRATO.
