Description

This machine is particularly suitable for stretching web layers coming from lappers, up to a max weight of 500 g/m2. Stretching takes place in a controlled way and can be adjusted with the machine in operation. Cylinders are partially provided with special clothing suitable to comb fibres, thus making them parallel.
The machine consisting of two strong shoulders where cylinder guides and sliding supports are located.
The machine works with 3 pairs of high thickness cylinders, diameter 100 mm. The lower cylinders are fixed., on the contrary the upper ones are housed on bronze guides. The upper cylinders are vertically adjusted by means of pneumatic jacks; the final distance is adjusted by means of moving limit piece through a manual wheel with micrometric screws.
The first two pairs of cylinders are covered with rigid clothing while, the third pair is smooth. Each pair of cylinders is driven with a geared-motor, all pairs of cylinders are connected to each other by means of toothed wheels.
The distance between each pairs of cylinders is 120 mm. Should material stick on cylinders, limit switches are activated, thus immediately stopping the machine
